GEORGIA EQUINE PROGRAMS
Berry College
is located in Mt. Berry, Georgia, and stakes its claim as the world's largest college campus with over 26,000 acres of land comprising the college.
Berry College offers a B.S. in Animal Science with an Equine Emphasis. Course work includes Equine Health, Equine Evaluation, Nutrition, Reproduction, and Management. The Program operates in conjunction with the
Gunby Equine Center.
The Center has 48 stalls, a lighted, covered arena, a Stallion Barn, and an outdoor covered performance arena with seating for 400.
Berry College also fields a Women's Equestrian Team.
The Women were just crowned 2011 National Champions (IHSA) in Western Riding, topping Oregon State.
The
Savannah School of Art and Design
is located in Savannah, Georgia, and offers B.A. in Equestrian Studies, as well as a Minor in Equestrian Studies. Course work includes Fundamental and Advanced Horse care and Management, Equines Disorders and Lameness, Equine Anatomy, Business Management, Equine Law, Barn Construction and Design, Course Design, and several Advanced Equitation Courses.
The program operates from the
Waranch Equestrian Facility ,
a state-of-the art facility on 80 acres. The School also supports the competitive Equestrian Team. See the

Mercer University
is located in Macon, Georgia. The school does not offer an equine degree program, but does offer the competitive
